Oster should do better July 19, 2010 Bernadee Queen (OK,USA) Was shocked after I got the Oster Nail Grinder has a tag on the power cord( contains lead wash hands after touching the power cord)?????What about the dog you are using it on the cord touches the dog? If you take it out of the case you will never get it back in have wondered how they got it into the case.Works well on my Doberman s nails wish they would have a cover for it for long haired dogs.
Oster Nail Grinder July 7, 2010 Roxie The Oster Nail Grinder is not bad. I seem to have problems with it not holding the bit. The good feature it that it is quiet and easier to use on a dog that is not happy anyway about having his nails done. I have used a Dremel in the past and had good results with that. Except for the bit slipping I like it.

I had been working with a battery powered grinder, I have a large dog, and it didn't really have enough power, this one is much better.
Grinder Review June 3, 2010 Regina C. King (Peachtree City, GA) It works okay - not as good as I had hoped. The biggest problem is getting the grinder heads to stay stable - they are supposed to be secure, but tend to slide in further upon use.
Great tool but somewhat fragile May 31, 2010 J. Fierke We have four dogs, and they have black nails, so cutting them inevitably ends up getting some of the quick on at least one of the nails. Grinding is slower, but you can stop before you hurt the dog.
This grinder is great for doing the dog's nails, it's small enough to be able to maneuver but powerful enough to do the job. The only complaint I have is that it is somewhat fragile, and if you drop it the electronics seem to go bad and it won't run anymore. (I know - then don't drop it!) I like it enough that I'm on my third one, but still...
