This bowl does what it says, (sort of). My dog still finds a way to suck up the food faster than a Dyson vacumn.

The product works as advertised. I was concerend that a medium bowl might be too big for my Bichon. It is not.
I would have given the item more stars if it would have came in the correct color. The picture is of a blue bowl and the bowl we got was a white bowl with some tanish flakes mixed in. Anytime the picture isn't what you will get (or you might get any number of colors), that should be mentioned in the product description.

Our bulldog mix would scarf down food in under 20 seconds with a regular food bowl. The first time we used this skid stop bowl, it took her a good 5 minutes. She's since learned some tricks to speed up the eating process, but it still takes her at least a couple minutes to eat, which is a huge improvement and makes us less worried about bloat and any other issues that come up with eating too fast.

Great product, works as described. My mixed breed chows his food so quickly he makes himself sick and keeps searching for food after meals since he still feels hungry. This really slows him down. Only problem is the size, he is 60 lbs and this seems a little too small for him.
